Bei Maniac Mansion Mania geht es darum, kurze Adventures in Form von Episoden einer Serie zu produzieren, die im Umfeld von Maniac Mansion spielen. Das Besondere daran ist, dass jeder daran teilnehmen darf und eigene Episoden einbringen kann. Dabei ist es egal, ob der Protagonist nun Bernard, Razor oder gar Dr. Fred ist.
